"Scrambled eggs and toast. I got it."

Turning away from her to grab the eggs out of the fridge, Matt glanced back over to her. "At least the swelling has gone down, right?"

"I think I can already reach everything on the top shelf as it is...This conversation makes me sound like some kinda freak..."

Standing outside the house of one Mr. Robert Jones, a producer for Global, Matt loosened his tie, almost not caring about his appearance.

Ringing the doorbell, he turned to grin at Incognito.

"Remember everything I told you about this guy and what to do tonight?"

Matt finished taking care of the dishes and returned to the table and looked down at the ground for a second before sitting down next to her and the kittens.

"Look at Choker soak up all that attention...Someone picked a favorite. Parents should never pick a favorite."

Setting the two empty plates on the table, Matt nodded to himself, glad he had thought of setting the table before Incognito came over. It not only gave them more time to chat, but it kept his mind busy as he bustled around the house.

He still wasn't sure how he was going to approach the topic of the article he had read.

Matt wasn't sure if he was going to like the answers she had to give either.
